Jimmy Edwards (PAY6448)

It is with great sadness that I inform you that Jimmy Edwards (PAY6448) passed away today, May 21, 2010.
As many of you may remember, we recently held a flight to honor Jimmy Edwards, New York pilot (PAY6448), to show our support for him as he bravely battled cancer. This was Jimmy's first online flight and he did it with his son, Travis (New York Hub Director), as his co-pilot. The response from APG and the VA community was overwhelming and Jimmy and his family were touched by the ourpouring of support for him in his struggle.
Please keep the Edwards family in your thoughts and prayers. And think of Jimmy, that he is now free to "trod the high sanctity of space, put out his hand and touch the face of God."
