New York Hub

Welcome to New York, The Big Apple. Where America Greets the World". The New York Hub consists of three airports, LaGuardia, Newark Liberty and John F. Kennedy International Airports. With 3 major airports and very congested skies, averaging over 3,700 flights per day, the New York airspace is known worldwide for its difficult departures and arrivals involving tight and quick turns. All three airports were opened in the 1940s and today Pacific Airways serves both passenger and cargo operations out of New York. Newark moves more than 31 million and LaGuardia more than 24 million passengers a year. Kennedy moves more than 1.7 million tons of cargo a year. If you like to fly passengers as well as cargo, in challenging situations, then New York is the place for you!

End of two decades of Partnership
Posted by Anand Pradhan on July 7, 2016 at 3:18 AM UTC

Following a review of operations and goals for the future, Pacific Airways (PAY) and American Flight Airways (AFA) have decided to end their association as part of the American Pacific Group (APG).

This brings to an end almost two decades of partnership but now allows Pacific Airways to focus on their long-term goals.

A new Executive Team has been formed and includes two of the founders of Pacific Airways.

Pacific Airways are now able to operate with much more freedom and the Exec Team have already discussed several new ideas to put some fun back into our hobby.

Pacific Airways can still be found at www.pacificaiways.net and welcome all new pilots.
